I used to think Real World/Road Rules Challenge was nail-biting good, but then I stumbled upon the One Room Challenge. Only the best challenge ever. EVER.
So, here's the lowdown. Linda of Calling It Home came up with the cool idea of tapping 20 home-design bloggers to make over a space in just six weeks and show the process! There is no swanky prize. Just a bunch of awe-inspiring design bloggers doing their thang because they love it oh so much. Without further ado, here are the three makeovers that I am drooling over. I think I died, went to heaven, and came back.
First, it's this sexy, masculine, edgy master bedroom makeover by Jessie D Miller. The black walls. The brass bed. That marble fireplace. The juxtaposition between the ceiling medallion and the lighting. Holy Moly. I think I just died and went to heaven again.
If you want the full list of designers that participated in the One Room Challenge, check it out here: Fall 2014 ORC. As always, hope you enjoyed the read-- until next time. toodles.

The marble mantle has me doing flips in my living room. I want it.
But, to truly understand the transformation, look at this before. I mean really?
and then bam!
And bam, again! I need a moment to collect myself.
Next is no other than the incredibly talented and lovely Christine Dovey. She did a makeover renovation of her master bathroom. The woman gutted the entire bathroom and built this masterpiece from scratch in six friggin' weeks! She deserves a round of applause... pronto.
I spy the chrome version of the Lux Holdups lucite toilet paper holder that I have in my powder room. That freaking excites me. The fact that I have something that Christine has included in one of her designs is a win in my book!
Ok, these Cement Tile Shop Tulum tiles are so going in my next bathroom reno. I'm inspired. And who would have thought that a neon sign could look that sexy, and in a bathroom no less! Only a design genius would think of that.
And now, look at this before.
I know. Exactly what I was thinking.
Last, but certainly not least is Albertina's closet makeover. It is so perfectly feminine and chic. I really hope hubby reads this and decides to fund my closet makeover as a V-Day gift (not-so-subtle hint).
The lilac and gold is mouthwatering. I actually was not a fan of lilac, until now. This closet has converted me. And the black and white Chanel Pearls print adds just the right amount of contrast. Plus, it's Chanel. Chanel anything is perfect-- duh.
And the before:
My imagination is running wild about how to fab-i-tize my own closet. I'll go to bed now with this fabulous image swirling in my mind...
