Did you miss the One Room Challenge reveals?

If you're in the need for design inspiration, look no further.  Last week was an inpsirational week in the blogosphere as interior design bloggers, lovers, adherents, and worshipers drooled over 180+ amazing design transformations under the banner of THE EPIC One Room Challenge.  Linda, you really are a friggin' genius for cooking up this idea that is called ORC. There were many jaw-dropping makeovers and it was hard for me to choose favorites, but I have a few that spoke to me for a number of reasons (that I won't bore you with).

First--and this is no particular order because I just cannot decide which ones are my favorite-- is Waiting on Martha's transformation of her loft.

She had the sofa upholstered in custom fabric by Steve Mckenzies, which is the perfect wow factor. I mean what in this space doesn't make you go wowzas!  I adore the bunching tables from Society Social, which is unfortunately sold out.  If you are on the market for similar tables and in the mood for a DIY project, try this Ikea table--it's selling for $9.99. No, that wasn't a typo.  I would paint the legs gold, even gold leaf it if you're feeling that crafty, and paint the top of the table white (make sure to seal the paint with polyurethane... novice DIYer here speaking from experience).  The pop of color added by the green abstract art is too hot. Oh, and so is that brass lamp on the console table. Oh oh, and sooo is that hanging light fixture.

Does your office need a makeover? Then you MUST check out Swoon Worthy's boho glam office makeover.  Kimberly, can I work out of your office puhleez?  I promise to bribe you with brass and leopard print everything.

Can we talk about this desk for a minute.  It's a DIY project.  It looks like a million bucks, that's fo sho.  Kimberly shared all the details and steps involved in the desk makeover in a recent post, so swing by her blog if you haven't already.  Let's switch gears for a minute, notice the blush pink paint on the walls. Gasp!  Where in my house can I incorporate blush pink wall paint (I can see my husband giving me the eyeroll as he reads this. Oh men!). Also, the fantastic blogger that she is, Kimberly recently posted a full source list for the project if you're wondering where you can find all these goodies.

Now, this transformation was screaming my name given my longstanding uhhbsession with clawfoot tubs. I mean sometimes I think about sleeping in mine.  Lining it with cushions, pillows and all (didn't Stephanie in Full House do that once?).  So when I saw Jenna Sue Design's guest bathroom makeover, my heart started beating really fast.

I mean WHERE do I freaking start?  The tiles, the tub, the lace curtains, the brass fixtures, the white wall tiles.  God, I can't breathe (take a minute, Yelda.  Breathe in, breathe out).  This nook is just stunning.  It really has me swooning. The clawfoot tub was a new purchase-- and get this, Jenna added a patina to the exterior of the tub.  Genius, right?! The curtains are from Ikea.  I love them so much I want to incorporate them somewhere in my own house.  There are a lot of DIY elements in this bathroom, so make sure to check her blog because she has promised to post some tutorials!

Now, here's what is even cooler about the One Room Challenge-- it has a linking component where other designers and bloggers can join in on the fun.  This year, there were 152 linking participants. You can check out their work here.  I hope you have as much fun perusing as I did.  Well, I'm sure you will.
